Ash Ridge is an artisan family owned winery set in the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine Growing region of Hawkes Bay.
For the past 15 years we have endeavoured to create stunning award winning wines that truly speak of the land and climate that makes this part of the world unique for wine making. Using traditional winemaking techniques married with modern equipment, we strive to produce the best wines from our vineyards.
Fruity Chardonnay with a little oak influence. Aroma’s of citrus, florals and fresh picked apricots.
Estate Syrah 2018
Rich & full with flavours of blackboy peaches and luscious plum, spice and pepper. Finished by silky soft tannins.
Estate Merlot 2019
Mouthfilling, with strong, plummy, slightly spicy flavours, savoury notes from the oak, adding interest, finely balanced tannins & good complexity.
Premium Viognier 2018
Aromas of freshly picked apricots and sweet spice, lush with summer fruit sweetness, floral and perfumed. Balanced acidity gives this wine lovely structure and length.
Reserve Chardonnay 2017
A barrel selection of the best components in the winery, this Chardonnay has great fruit purity, intensity and depth.
Premium Syrah 2017
Dark and mouthfilling, this wine is savoury and harmonious, with deep, ripe plum and boysenberry flavours, an elegant seam of pepper, fine-grained tannins, and a long, spicy finish
Premium Cabernet Merlot 2016
Rich with spice, liquorice and blackcurrants, the palate is all black plums and cherries, with dark chocolate and a smokey char. A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot
Estate Pinot Gris 2019
Classic pear and white fleshy peach with some oak and creamy malo characters to add complexity and toasty notes.
Reserve Syrah 2016
Our top tier of Syrah, this is a wine of great depth, finesse and cellaring potential. Deep and dark, with layers of blackberry and boysenberry fruit with mouth-filling tannins.
Premium Malbec 2017
Packed with flavour, this wine is rich with plums and blackberries, chocolate and spice. Far too easy to drink and great with food, a perfect winter wine.
Estate Rose 2020
Made from 100% Merlot grapes. This is an off-dry style of Rose, displaying wonderful lifted strawberry aromatics which carry into the palate.
