Region: Chianti  100% Sangiovese
Alcohol: 12.5%

Chianti like this is so drinkable. The nose is vibrant with dark fruits and black olive complemented by a savoury amaro type complexity. Fresh onthe palate, with fine grain tannins  that ensures it ends dry but with impresive flavour. Great drinkability here and a perfect foil for a home-made pasta with a meaty ragu.

Region: Piedmont
75% Barbera 25% Nebbiolo
Alcohol: 13.5%

ROSSO 2021

Fragrant, lifted fruits of the forest overlaid by notes of ried herbs, some leather and aniseed. This is a medium weight wine, very well balanced with plush fruit character, sandy tannins and a lovely fresh clip of acidity delivering excellent Italian drinkability. This is a very approachable wine that will match brilliantly with food as well being great on its own. The perfect pasta or pizza wine.

Piedmont, in the foothills of the Alps in the north west of Italy, is home to the country’s finest full-bodied red wines. The greatest wines are made from the extremely long lived Nebbiolo. Barbera however is the most widely planted and popular variety, due to its fruit-driven expressiveness and youthful approachability.

Region: Veneto
Grape Variety: 90%Garganega 10%Trebbiano

Soave is a small commune in Veneto, part of the province of Verona. The region’s high altitude and cool climate create an elegant expression of Soave, imparted with mineral complexity by the stony soil. Soave is most commonly described as a dry white made from the Garganega variety. This wine is from the Classico designaton: indicating wines produced in the heartland of the Soave region around the sloping vineyards of Verona.

A great example of Soave showing bold aromas of stonefruit and citrus, with grilled nuts, marzipanandspice. The palate is mouthfilling with a bold fruit signature
and a hints of minerality. It’s full of bright fruit flavours and balanced by fine acidity ensuring a good match for  barbecued prawns with chilli and garlic.
