Duncan’s is an independently owned microbrewery located on the Kapiti Coast. We like to play with new style beers, which respectfully nod to the past. Our team is small but we’re supported by a big community.
Owned and operated by George Duncan and Wai Familton, Duncan’s is the result of a 22,000 km road trip circumnavigating the USA, where we drank our way through a multitude of sessionable and sometimes questionable beer offerings. Clearly, a beer obsession was born.

An umbra is the shadow that the Earth casts when hit by sunlight. This Imperial Stout is pitch black and robust with notes of stone fruit and dark chocolate.

A staple and fan favourite of the Duncan’s line up, this IPA is brewed with juniper berries which delivers hints of pine and citrus aroma and flavour. If you love gin this is your beer, and if you’re not a gin fan you just might be surprised.

A New Zealand take on an old world classic. A crisp dry Larger nicely hopped up with floral notes of citrus and spice. Classic New Zealand hops give lots of spice and citrus with hints of tropical fruit.
